Hi! This is just a quick post. I am currently staying in Vista Komanwel, in Bukit Jalil. I don't have Internet there, so I won't be updating, at least not anytime soon. I just came home to pick up some stuff and have dinner.
Uni begins tommorow! Wish me luck!
CNY was awesome!
DAY 1
On the first day, we went back to Raub,Pahang and had dinner with dad's entire family at Ah Fatt Restaurant. We go there every single year. Pretty normal, with lots of picture taking, angpow collecting, drinking (the usual loud shouts of YAAAAM-SENG!) and talking.
No pictures, cause I left the camera in the car.
DAY 2
Went to visit mum's side of the family which is located in KL. After a couple of hours at Grandma's house, we went to Jogoya at Starhill Gallery!
I have been calling it Jagoya until now, swt.
Anyway, here are some pictures! Desserts first!
Clockwise from left: Orange jelly, some mochi wrapped in green plastic, coffee mochi, chocolate cake and strawberry mochi. The green plastic one was awesome!
Chocolate fondue
Waffles
Haagen-Dazs ice cream! I think I ate like 10 scoops of ice cream.
Oooh, I dream of the ice cream..
Cakes!
Kenny gleefully getting one of everything.
The savoury foods next.
Cheese Scallops!!
Oysters on the green tray and tenpura on the red tray. People are like vultures here. Whenever the staff put out the big tenpura prawns, everyone immediately grabs it. The tray will be empty in approximately 30 seconds.
Sashimi!
Umm, lobster salad, I think.
This was hanging above the sushi bar. Apparently, oyster and milk equals food poisoning. I wonder if that's true..
That's all the pictures I have cause the blue sushi guy in the pic above said that we can't take pics.
DAY 3
Went to Vista Komanwel to clean up the room, hang curtains, and stuff like that. I can't believe I will be moving out in a couple of days! Living alone, away from parents..although its only for weekdays. I go home during weekends. Uni is gonna start soon, on the 22nd of February. I kinda wish that the holidays would last longer, though.
Ahem. Anyway, on Day 3, we had dinner at home, mum cooked all the usual CNY dishes like sea cucumber with mushrooms and the big pot of vegetables.
That's all, people. =D
Happy Chinese New Year and belated Happy Valentines to ya'll!
Have you ever seen something so completely ordinary and yet extraordinary at the same time?
I was waiting for Auntie Lee to pick me up, when I saw the Plane Man.
Before I continue, let me tell you about the Plane Man. The Plane Man is the mysterious person who often plays remote controlled airplanes in the playground in front of my house.
At night, you can see the plane zooming away, complete with blinking and flashing lights.
During the day, he would be flying a different sort of plane, the one with propellers in the front.
I have never seen this man before, only his planes in the air. It was always too dark at night and I never seemed to notice him during the day. Until today, that is.
He was an ordinary looking Malay man, in his late forties. Except for one thing. He had only one leg.
I wonder whether during the moments he watches the plane cut through the air, he felt as if he too could lift up into the air, away from his troubles and join the plane dipping and diving in the blue blue sky.
Can't see it? Closer then..
A tad bit closer..
Here I am!
Happy New Year, everyone!
Hey guys!
Holidays are so so fun. I love waking up as late as 12pm and looking forward to doing absolutely nothing for the whole day.
I'm currently addicted to this pc game known as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Its basically an rpg game, but totally open ended.
My character. Pretty? xD
The wolf I murdered.
Nice scenery.
I am such a geek. =D
SAM was one crazy roller coaster ride. A good one, of course. Like all good things, it has to come to an end. And what better way to celebrate the end with a
